KCB’s 2Jiajiri , Safaricom’s BYOB, Jiajiri.Today App

A complete set of what any youthful entrepreneur would need within the first three years of starting up a business. However, if you cannot have all the three, at least have Jiajiri Today App.

KCB's 2Jiajiri – KCB Foundation, on 9th March 2016, launched a 50 billion job creation programme called 2Jiajiri. This program seeks to catalyse employment and wealth creation among the youth and entrepreneurs through provision of technical skills training, up-skilling and certification of informal micro-entrepreneurs to be able to grow their businesses from the informal to formal sector.

Safaricom's BYOB – Under their youth sub-brand BLAZE, Safaricom launched BYOB (Be Your Own Boss) reality TV show that targets over 800,000 young men and women entering the job market annually yet the job market can only consume less than an eighth of them. This program seeks to encourage the youth to embrace entrepreneurship and be able to create jobs to address this big problem.

If you just work on stuff that you like and you're passionate about, you don't have to have a master plan with how things will play out.
